ABOUT
‘Reaction’ is the youth ministry at the House church. Open to young people from all different backgrounds. We love simply hanging out together and having a good time, whilst learning more and more about who Jesus is and what it means to live for Him. We aim to show God’s love, grace and acceptance through a variety of different ways, making an impact on our city. We work openly with both Christian and non Christian youth. |

WHAT WE’RE ABOUT
Our Vision is “To reach the youth of Newcastle city with the gospel of Jesus Christ, expressing love, grace and acceptance, by way of evangelistic events, relationship building, regular youth meetings and integrating the youth in the church body.”
WHAT WE DO
The Basement Coffee House is open for young people from 3 until 5pm every Tuesday to Thursday, and on Fridays we are open till 10:30pm. This is our primary time where we aim to encourage the youth, both christian and non-christians alike. You can come and hang out, buy drinks and snacks, play pool and listen to some live music in a relaxed, fun and safe atmosphere. For those who are Christians we aim to be a loving support, walking along side them, and together striving towards living a radical and transformed life for Jesus. We seek to raise up a group of passionate young people, empowered to live a life of action as a REACTION to the love of Jesus. For those who are not Christians we seek to provide: caring and supportive relationships; a listening ear; and a place to hang out with friends. We provide a safe environment that means young people are off the streets and out of danger, in a place where they can interact with people their own age in a relaxed environment.
