Women's Ministry

Ladies Nights LogoThroughout all of history women could be seen doing life together.  You see them serving, working, mentoring, and mothering. This is something we miss in todays busy culture. We also see that some of the greatest impact on the lives of others came through women whose lives had been changed by the Gospel. By embracing their roles as godly women within their work place or by being wives and mums, they in-turn affected people, which effected culture and history.

In our culture there is a lack of appreciation  and understanding regarding the differences between men and women. As a church we believe that both male and female are equally made in Gods image, so together we should see the full revelation of God and His character.  So, as women we should recognise and embrace our differences and not see it as being lesser in any way. This is something we should rejoice and grow in together.

There is a monthly Ladies Night where women (in all seasons of life) can gather together to discover the uniqueness and joy of our womanhood and how that can impact our culture today.  When the business of life might keep us from getting to know each other, this time brings us together under one roof. It is here where we as women can get to know each other and encourage one another into greater intimacy with God by helping us understand our amazing calling and purpose in life, to glorify God in all things.

Don’t get us wrong, we also value just simply doing life together. Whether this is a lunch at a favourite cafe i.e. The Basement Coffee House or a couple of hours of shopping with screaming children, these valuable times cannot be over emphasised.

So... If you are new to the House, please feel like part of the family. Come on out and join us the first Wednesday of each month @ 7pm. A meal is provided.
